Pictures are worth a billion laughs

So they say that a picture is worth a thousand words... Well, THIS picture is worth and billion laughs!!! We are sorting our pictures... Ok, MOLLY has been put in charge of sorting the pictures because apparently Molly is the computer-savvy person in the house (I have NO idea what they see in me) Well here is just about the funniest picture that you ever did see...  We are in Oregon and Sophie Kate is just loving the guts out of Sethy.... Grandma, as always, is oblivious to the whole thing and just smiles while just enjoying her grandkids...

7 Months and 16 days later....

Well, that number is just a little bit embarrassing.  As you can probably guess a lot has happened in the lives of the Georges' since then.  Molly finished being a Jr. and now only has one more year of high school to go.  (Yea for being the top dog again!!  Whoot whoot!!). Gabe is now a freshmen (or fresh meat.... depending on who you are talking to).  He has spent every single day at the golf course where at the shop they are just in love with that cute boy and give him just about anything he wants (including free Titleist hats. Which just makes that boy a happy camper!).  Gabe is also really really really excited about EFY.  Every time we go to the store for something he always asks me "Are we getting more stuff for EFY?!?"  That boy is going to be a hit with the ladies at EFY I will tell  you that!  Lacey is also now the top dog in her school as a 6th grader.  She is just reading away and all that jazz.  As you read on her blog I guess she is bored and has nothing to do and needs suggestions.  Sorry Lula.... I can't think of anything.  Sydney is now a 3rd grader (??) I think so.... it's a bit hard to keep track of all these little monkeys.  Ok.  Yup she is going to be in 3rd grade.  She is just playing her little guts out.  She loves the summer and can't get enough of it.  All of these children just go super tan in the summer except their poor older sister who just gets burnt.... ahhh poor me.  Last but not least is the favorite of all the siblings (you ask anyone of us and we will all say this cute little girl's name.) HANNAH!! Well what can I say that is not known already?? She no longer has those long locks of hers... nope.  She wanted it all cut off and if you ask me I think that she looks so cute now.  Even cuter then before!  That's hard to do folks!  She and Sydney have just been having a splendid time outside in the pool and at Grandma's house.

Thankful Trees and Three year olds

Ok so here's the scoop. Jenny got Lacey a blog for her birthday and so we (Kelly and Molly) decided that it would be fun to start a family blog. Kelly decided that Molly would be good at it so she has decided that I (Molly) am in charge.

You gotta love family. Five kids during FHE not really paying attention but trying. Sort of. Hannah and I (Molly) did the lesson today. Ha
nnah like any 3 year old cannot for the life of herself keep a secret. I took her down to my room and we made the George Family Thankful Tree (beautiful coloring by the 3 year old herself). All during dinner Gabe tried to talk her into telling him what we were doing and every time she tried to answer I would say "SHHHHH!". I had a few scriptures that I was going to read and every other word I hear this little voice right beside me whisper "Ok. NOW the posta?" FINALLY I was able to say "Ok. Now the poster." You can't beat a 3 year old's excitement even when it's over a "posta"! Here are some of the things that the George's are thankful for.

  • Cars-So that Daddy can come home to us on the weekends
  • The Backyard
  • Hannah had something. We just asked her what it said. She repeated herself multipule times.
  • Mutual
  • Dentists and Good Teeth
  • Indoor Plumbing
  • Parents who don't get mad when their lovely teenage daughter texts her mom and says "Um. So I just bumped into a car at the mall and left a note." Bless that daughter's wonderful parents! But that's a different story.
  • Heavenly Father and Jesus
  • Friends
  • Testimonies
Some spiritual but not all. But we got some in there! Hey! I say if you get Heavenly Father and Jesus in there you are good!
That's about it for tonight. Oh it was Lacey's birthday today but she just got her own blog and if you would like to hear all the details of her day they are on HER blog. And it is well worth the read!

P.S. That picture has nothing to do with anything. We just liked it.
